Lindfield Rural Parish Council
Into the Future
The Parish Council is about to initiate the process of producing the Scaynes Hill
Village Plan for 2010 and beyond. This is an opportunity for you to put forward your views on what is needed in Scaynes Hill and to take an active part in preparing the Vil-lage Plan for Scaynes Hill. A plan for Lindfield already exists and the parts of our parish that are close to Lindfield were included in the Lindfield Plan.
The village Plan will inform and influence the Parish Council when setting its¡¦ budget and planning developments for the future.
The village plan should be prepared by representatives of the village and not the Parish Council. Councillors will be available to assist as required however. The plan can include anything but to give you some idea it could cover:
„h Transport and Highways
„h Facilities and Amenities
„h Housing and Environment
„h Sport and Leisure
„h Safety and Security
„h Etc.
The plan does not have to address funding as the practicalities would be investigated when the Parish Council, District Council, County Council, Health Authority etc was con-tacted to find a way of achieving the goals identified. As we know almost
anything can be achieved with sufficient will and determination.
The initial meeting will take place at:
7:45pm on Monday 30th November
The Garden Room, Farmers Inn, Scaynes Hill
please come along and let¡¦s start the ball in motion. We need your ideas and we need
volunteers to form a steering group to prepare the village plan.
Please let our Parish Clerk, Karin Milne, know if you would like to attend the meeting
